ShortSimply Monitor puts your Sony camera on your iPhone: live view, every setting, focus stacking, an intervalometer, your originals and backups on the phone, and a behind-the-scenes video with every photo marked on it.

MediumSimply Monitor is a remote, monitor and backup tool for Sony cameras on iPhone. The camera's live picture fills the phone's screen over Wi-Fi or USB-C, with shutter, aperture, ISO, white balance, drive and focus in big readouts you scrub like a lens ring, and tap-to-focus on the picture. It runs focus stacks, a bulb timer, an intervalometer and exposure bracketing for you, pulls full-size originals off the card to Photos, a folder or a USB-C drive, backs up every new shot as you shoot, and writes GPS into every file through the camera. Tap BTS and it also records what the camera sees while you keep shooting stills, with every photo marked on the video for the edit. The app is free; a one-time $5.99 Pro purchase makes BTS recording unlimited.

The mark is a 3:2 monitor frame with amber focus brackets on the upper-right third and a red tally dot. Please don't recolour, stretch, rotate or add effects to it. Always write the name as two words: Simply Monitor.
