Help for Phyziq on iPhone and Apple Watch
Need a hand?
Email support@foggoapps.com. A real person (the developer) reads every message, usually within two working days.
Include your iPhone and watch models, iOS and watchOS versions, and what happened. A screenshot can help; please leave out private health details, progress photos, passwords and sign-in codes.
Email supportGym Pass and purchases
How do I restore my Gym Pass?
Use the Apple Account you bought it with, then tap Restore purchases on the Gym Pass screen or in Settings → Account & Gym Pass. Both subscriptions and Lifetime can be restored. You do not need a Foggo Apps account.
If Phyziq cannot find your pass, check which Apple Account made the purchase and whether the subscription is still active. If it still fails, email us with the message you see. Restoring purchases does not restore workout files.
How do trials, subscriptions and Lifetime work?
Everyone gets 7 free days from their first day in Phyziq. After that, the Gym Pass keeps the gym open: Gym Pass Basic (monthly), Gold Gym Pass (yearly) or Platinum Gym Pass (Lifetime). On your first day, Basic and Gold can start with Apple's free week instead, so the free time is always one week; after that they have no trial. Check the purchase screen for your price and eligibility. Subscriptions renew automatically. Lifetime is a one-time purchase.
People recognised by the app as Founding members already have access. See the Gym Pass terms.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Cancel in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Phyziq. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial or subscription period to avoid renewal. See Apple's cancellation guide.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Buying Lifetime does not cancel an existing subscription either. Refund requests go through Apple's Report a Problem service.
Apple Health and outdoor cardio
How do I change Health permissions?
Open the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps → Phyziq and choose the data it can read and write. Phyziq also has Settings → Apple Health → Connect Apple Health for reconnecting step access. Body-measurement import asks separately for its permissions.
The Privacy Policy lists every requested Health type. If access is denied, related values may be missing. Revoking access does not remove records already saved in Apple Health.
Why are heart rate, calories or steps missing?
Check Phyziq's Health permissions and whether Apple Health has data from your device or connected sensor. For a Watch workout, also allow Health access on the watch and wear it correctly. Data depends on what the devices can measure and share; calories are estimates.
How do outdoor routes work?
Outdoor walks and runs use your phone's location for distance, pace and the route map. Allow location access when prompted and Motion & Fitness access for steps. You can change these in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security.
Routes stay on your device and can be saved with the workout to Apple Health if you allow it.
Apple Watch
How does my watch connect to a workout?
The Phyziq companion syncs the live workout between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch, including sets, timers and workout controls. Allow Health access on the devices for workout recording and live measurements.
If a session is not appearing, check that Phyziq is installed on the watch, open it on both devices and check their connection. Keep the phone nearby while troubleshooting. If it still does not connect, send us the device models and system versions.
Accounts, photos and backups
Do I need an account? Does it back up my workouts?
An account is optional, including for purchases. Apple and Google sign-in use the same Foggo Apps account system as Step Tomo. Email codes are available only when enabled; they are currently not offered.
Signing in does not back up your workouts. Workouts, routines, measurements, progress photos and your character are stored on your device. Use the app's backup export and keep your own device backups before changing phones or reinstalling. Restore backup in Settings reads a Phyziq backup file you select.
Are my progress photos private?
Phyziq stores progress photos locally and does not upload them to our servers or AI services. Your own device backups are separate. An image you choose for AI workout-plan import is a different feature; see AI privacy.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Account & Gym Pass → Delete account, confirm, and wait for Account deleted. If needed, sign in again first. You can also ask by email.
This removes your Phyziq account, while your local workouts, any Step Tomo account and Apple subscriptions remain. See Delete your account for exactly what is removed and the email instructions.
AI features
Why is AI unavailable?
Phyziq currently uses Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. Availability depends on a supported device, a compatible system version, Apple Intelligence being enabled and the model being ready. Check Settings → AI features in Phyziq for its status.
The Gemini cloud fallback is disabled. Review any generated or imported routine before training. Read how AI handles your inputs.
