Phyziq  ·  Gym log for iPhone

Show up. Show off.

Phyziq is a gym log with a pixel lifter you make yourself. You log the sets. Your lifter trains with you, in your own garage gym, at Physique Beach or at Ironworks.

Free to download · first 7 days free · iPhone with Apple Health

Five Phyziq lifters, each built differently, standing together at Physique Beach in Santa Monica

How it works

Make. Log. Grow.

The workouts you already do, with someone to do them with.

1

Make your lifter

Pick a body type, height, skin, hair and clothes. You meet them on the boardwalk at Physique Beach.

2

Log your sets

Weight and reps, a rest timer, and what you lifted last time, right next to the set you're on.

3

Watch it add up

New records land on the plaques in My Gym. Your lifter levels up as the weeks go by.

Your character

A lifter that looks like you, or doesn't

Your lifter is a low-poly pixel character, built your way. Choose the body type and height, then skin tone, hair and what to wear.

Setup happens on a live scene: the boardwalk at Physique Beach, with the sea behind you. Change anything later.

  • Body type and height
  • Skin tone and hair
  • Tops, shorts, shoes and more

Five lifters, five different builds.

The gyms

Three places to train

Your lifter trains where you choose. Each gym has its own equipment and its own light. The garage gym is free. Physique Beach and Ironworks come with the Gym Pass.

Real lifts

Your lifter does the exercise you log

Each lift has its own animation. The bar goes down to the chest on a bench press. The rope swings on every jump.

Logging and progress

Know what you lifted last time

Start a plan or a single workout and log as you go. Last time's numbers sit beside each set, so you know what to beat.

  • A rest timer between sets
  • Personal records, called out when you hit one
  • Plans you can follow week to week
  • A gym card with your name, how you train and your member tier

My Gym

Your bests, on the wall

My Gym is where your lifter trains. Each station has a plaque with your best set there. Tap a plaque to see that exercise's history.

While a workout is running, your lifter trains at the matching station. The camera button switches between a low 3D view and the classic top-down view.

Crew

Train with friends

Crew is off until you turn it on. Then you get a friend code to share. Add friends, see their streaks and the workouts they choose to share, and wave when they've trained.

  • Add friends with a code or an invite link
  • See shared workouts, levels and streaks
  • Block or report anyone, any time

The shop

Earn coins, change your look

Workouts earn coins. Spend them in the shop on clothes and new hair for your lifter.

Crew

Coming in 1.200

Take your lifter for a run

I added cardio so you can keep it beside your lifting. Version 1.200 is in preparation and will be available after Apple approval and release.

Record runs, walks, rides, rowing, stairs, elliptical and jump rope. Choose the running track, a treadmill in your gym or big numbers.

Use a pacer to race your last session, your best or a pace you choose. Follow your workout on the lock screen, in the Dynamic Island and on Apple Watch.

Outdoor sessions save route maps. Spoken splits tell you your pace at each kilometre or mile.

FAQ

Questions

Do I need an account?

No. You can log workouts without signing in. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional, and Crew only starts when you turn it on.

Does Phyziq work with Apple Health?

Yes, if you allow it. Phyziq can read heart rate and calories during a workout and save finished workouts to Apple Health. Your Apple Health data stays on your device.

What can my friends see in Crew?

Your display name, your character, your level, streak and strength tier, and your last five workouts if Share my workouts is on. Never your photos, body measurements or Apple Health data. The full list.

Is a new phone going to keep my workouts?

Your workouts live on your iPhone, so they move with an iPhone backup or a Phyziq backup file. Signing in isn't a cloud backup of your workouts.

How much does it cost?

Free to download, and your first 7 days are free. After that the Gym Pass is $3.99 a month or $12.99 a year, or $24.99 once for Lifetime (US prices). Questions? Get in touch.
