Descriptions

One line

I made Phyziq to keep my lifting and cardio in one place, with a character you build who trains with you.

Short

Phyziq is the gym log I wanted for myself. Build your own lifter on a beach boardwalk, then log your sets and see them do the lifts. Version 1.200 adds cardio on a running track or a treadmill in your gym. A pacer helps you keep your pace, and Crew lets you train with friends.

Long

I built Phyziq for the gym floor. Sets, reps and weight go in with big, clear keys while you lift, with a rest timer, RPE, warm-up, drop and failure sets, and your numbers from last time. The rest timer also sits on the lock screen, and live heart rate comes from Apple Watch, AirPods or Beats through Apple Health.

Setup happens on a live beach boardwalk at Physique Beach. You build a character: body, build, height, skin tone, hair and gym clothes. Tell Phyziq your goal, level, where you train and which days, and it builds your week and a first routine.

Your character trains where you choose. Physique Beach sits on the sand by the pier in Santa Monica, Ironworks is a brick warehouse gym, and the garage gym is yours alone. When you log a lift, your character does it: squats with the bar on the back, bench press to the chest, alternating curls, jump rope with a turning rope, and boxing with gloves on. My Gym shows your best lift on a plaque at each station, and a camera button switches between two angles.

Version 1.200 adds runs, walks, rides, rowing, stairs, elliptical and jump rope. Choose a running track, a treadmill in your gym or a screen of big numbers. Your character moves at your pace.

Race your last session, your best or a pace you choose with the pacer. Keep time, distance and your pacer's gap on the lock screen, in the Dynamic Island or on Apple Watch. Outdoor sessions save route maps, and spoken splits tell you your pace at each kilometre or mile.

Progress compares this period with the last, rates your strength from 0 to 100 against lifters your size, lists your newest personal records and lights up the muscles you trained. Every workout earns coins for the Shop, which sells clothes and hairstyles, with separate ranges for men and women.

Crew is optional: add friends with a code or a link, see each other's last workouts and a weekly ranking, wave, and block or report anyone. Your gym card shows your membership and streak, and you can share it.

The app icon's faceless, sun-yellow lifter is the logo, not the in-app character: inside the app everyone builds their own person. Always yellow skin and the white tee, always this pose, never given a face or a skin tone.
